Commissioners books from the 1820's period there is a listing that states: " Elizabeth Jones allowed twenty-five dollars for keeping Phebe Flinn, a poor child, she was also allowed twelve dollars for keeping George W. Flinn, a poor child." There is no exact date on this entry but some of the other entries around this one are dated 1823-24, per the researcher. I am looking for more information on this Elizabeth Jones family. It has been said that Elizabeth moved to Wisconsin in 1835. Am also curious about the George W. Flinn mentioned.
