I can send a gedcom file of my work on the Schmitt line to those interested. At this time the file is small with just over 1300 people listed. This file contains only those from my paternal line and is not complete as I am just starting to transfer families from my main file. Included are 40 family trees of Schmitt and Schmitt related that are not yet connected. The time frame here is from about the present back to early-mid 1700's and includes St. Wendel, Alsace-Artolsheim and Alsace-Schoenau. Also copies of birth, death and marriage records are in my files at home. Also if you would like to be added to the mail list I keep to post updated findings on my research let me know. Gilbert
