I have found no one who does know anything more about her. By naming pattern of their children, her father's name should be William, but some people have suspected it was Thomas. It may be that she did not know herself (perhaps she was an orphan?) because the third boy has her maiden name as a first name. I have almost more information on the Almons (back to about 1705 and I have not pursued it beyond that date as yet) than anyone could reasonably want. If you would like information about her siblings and their descendants, the siblings of her father and their descendants, e-mail me at maggi59@msn.com and we can talk about what info you would like to have.

    1. [INPOSEY] Genealogy Group Focus Discussion on Thomas Endicott/Endecott & Sarah Welsh/Welch
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/Zi.2ADE/1618 Message Board Post: Hello, This notice is being sent out to all genealogy researchers who have been observed to have researched family lines that include or touched on the family of Thomas Endecott/Endicott (born about 1737 and died about 1827) and his first wife, Sarah Welsh/Welch. Thomas also had a second wife that produced offspring. The purpose of this notice is to announce that a focus discussion will occur on this family and will discuss all details regarding it... touching on all pieces of information in the possession of all researchers participating that relate to this family, including parents, siblings, children and other historical data. This dicussion will be initiated on Sunday, April 21st, 2002 and will continue until all information sharing seems to have exhausted itself. The discussion will occur on the primary Endicott genealogy forum located at: http://www.yahoogroups.com/group/Endicott If you do not already participate in this forum (which currently includes 89 Endicott researchers), you may subscribe to this e-mail listserv by sending a blank e-mail to: Endicott-subscribe@yahoogroups.com or you can go directly to the website and subscribe there. It is the intent of this focus discussion that all researchers interested will come away with substantially more data and more accurate data than they had before...that questions that have lingered will be answered (and possibly more questions will be raised). This is the first such focus discussion on the list and, if successful, will be followed by many more and will likely prove to be a valuable tool for all participating Endicott researchers. Those who plan on participating, please access all your data relating to this family and prepare to share that information and have discussion on this information starting this Sunday. Be prepared to cite the sources of your information. If you are aware of other researchers of this line that may be interested, please feel free to invite them as well. Hope to see you involved in the discussion. Best wishes. Sincerely, Kyle Elwood Descendant of Thomas Endecott and Sarah Welsh via their son Moses

Unfortunately, it is my grandmother's ancestry that I don't have a clue about! My mom, now deceased, still had the papers from her mother where she had written down the names of HER grandmothers. That's where I came by the Endicott and Soard/Seward names. Also unfortunately, Mom had zero info on her grandfather, other than his name, William Drew. So far, I haven't been able to find ANY info on him either! Oh well - the search continues, huh? In your publication is their any mention of Overtons from Tennessee? My Overtons have 2 sides - so far I've not been able to do much with the Tennessee gang. Thanks much for the reply!
