Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Zi.2ADE/1628.2.1 Message Board Post: Hi Don, Wish I had better news for you. A search of the book's index finds no Cassie, Harry, Alvin, Ross, Thomas or Lois. There is a William H. Cleveland, but the dates don't match. There is also a William Cleveland and a Grover Cleveland but I couldn't check them because those pages are missing in my book (pages 137 and 160). As a side note, there are no Maunts listed in the index but there ARE several Mounts. Cassie wasn't among them but if you're sure she was born in Posey Co. her maiden name was probably Mounts.

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Zi.2ADE/1628.1.1.1.1 Message Board Post: Colleen, I have checked the index for all variations of Aldridge I can find - Aldredge, Aldrich, Aldridge, Alldredge, Allredge. I cannot find a Martha or an Ezekial. Unfortunately there are about 200 names and the book is set up so the name is indexed in the back and you must turn to the page it is on to find the gravestone inscription. Therefore I cannot go through every name to find one that died in 1820. I am happy to check for specific names, however.

I am looking for the death of an Aldridge woman in the late 1820's. Believe her first name might be Martha but not sure. Most likely would be in or near Black Township. Also an Ezekial Aldridge between 1830-1840. The surname spelling may vary of course. You would probably make a lot of people very happy if you posted any Aldridge/Aldredge/Alldredge/Aldrich you find. There are a great deal of Aldridge researchers with ties to Posey Co and very few volunteers. Thanks for your time!
