    3. Joan, I owe John "Walt" Walters a reciprocal favor. I will give you a full day of labor when you decide to work on a cemetery in Tipton county. I would be especially happy if there are Civil War soldier burials in the cemeteries you are choosing. If not, I will still be there. Strong back, weak mind. The Sons of Union Veterans might be interested in participating in this. Contact Russ Kirchner at High Performance Alloys in Tipton. He is the Indiana SUV Grave Registration Officer. If there are CW stones it might entice some of them to participate. I remain your obedient servant, Mark Davis Hartford City,IN ----- Original Message ----- From: <joanwray@ccrtc.com> To: <INPCRP-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, February 08, 2002 9:03 PM Subject: Re: [INPCRP] Tipton County Indiana > Hello John: > > Perhaps someone could give me somewhat of a proceedure list of what to do > first, second, etc. in order to > make contacts, identify needs of specific cemeteries, carry out the > solution. > > This is most of my problem. 3. Mark, Do you know of any site where they are taking the pictures of CW stones around the state? You mentioned (SUV Grave Registration Officer) I naturally go to these stones any time I visit a cemetery. It seem like someone would have a webpage where they could find where there man was buried. I know, it really would be a big progect. Just asking? LA Tippecanoe County Pioneer Cemeteries Group Coordinator

    2. MARK: THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY. HOPEFULLY WE CAN TAKE YOU UP ON YOUR OFFER. I BELIEVE THE CEMETERY NEAR MY HOUSE HAS A VETERAN BURIED THERE, I WILL HAVE TO RESEARCH AND FIND OUT WHEN. IT HAS HAD NO BURIALS FOR YEARS. I AM ALSO HAPPY TO FIND SOMEONE CLOSE WHO IS KNOWLEDGEABLE. I WOULD LOVE TO FORM A GROUP WITH THE ZEAL TO COVER THIS ON AN ANNUAL BASIS AND KEEP IT UP. BUT, AT THIS TIME, IT IS MOSTLY WANT AND NOT KNOWLEDGE. I BELONG TO THE TIPTON COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY AND HAVE THEIR BACKING (NO MONEY) TO CONTINUE WITH THIS PROJECT. I WILL CONTACT RUSS AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS THANKS, AND WILL BE IN CONTACT AS WE NEED TO BE READY TO EITHER ASSESS THE NEEDS OR GET CLEARANCE ON ONE TO START WITH. SO FAR THERE ARE TWO OF US WHO ARE INTERESTED IN CARRYING OUT THIS ENDEAVOR...YOU MAKE THREE. THANKS AGAIN, JOAN WRAY TIPTON, INDIANA ----- Original Message ----- From: "mark davis" <md9105@skyenet.net> To: <INPCRP-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, February 08, 2002 11:30 PM Subject: Re: [INPCRP] Tipton County Indiana > Joan, > > I owe John "Walt" Walters a reciprocal favor.
