Thanks, Brian. I had checked on some of the cemeteries around this county and saw that there were lots of the Snodgrass name to be found. Odd that there would be so many farmers there in Indiana. I have to throw this one in. In the 70's when my husband was a Head Start Consultant, a fed Head Start official came from DC to visit programs here in Indiana. Sue, Just curious. I think you and/or someone else has indicated that it's strange to find farmers in Indiana in 1851(I believe that's the year mentioned). Why do you find that strange? My ancestors were farmers in Indiana much earlier than that.
