    3. MaryAlice, I'm sorry. I put that post about the farmers. It was ment as a joke. Three direct lines of my family were farmers in Allen county from 1826 on and three other direct lines in Wells county from 1840 on. I've looked at and downloaded EVERY census page from Allen and Wells counties from 1830 - 1920 and 90% of them were farmers. Brian E.
