This cemetery is in Richland Township of Madison County and is cared hor by the Township Trustee. E. Smith was the original owner of a large area of ground and he dedicated this land as a public burial ground. There is a Civil War veteran there and I have send people decorating graves. The Cemetery was called Funk also because a Funk had urchased the land from Smith. And Learned the history of t;he land from my abstract.
