Suggesting that you change your laws to coincide with the rest of the country while it is a good idea, is impossible to do when the other states cannot agree with themselves. In fact I'll go one step farther, there is no state today that has a full set of good, clear workable laws that cover everything that needs to be addressed that could be adopted.
