If there are others buried there they were buried there with the landowners permission, or by invitation. Most other cemeteries around here have the name of a Church that was there at one time (maybe gone now) that were the owners of the cemeteries. This is more often than not the case. Since most of our cemeteries were deeded on private property by the owner, when we located some that were lost for 75-100 years, we used the deed to name the cemetery properly to avoid any ill will about the true name.
