part of being a trustee is taking care of cemeteries like it or not...i apoligize for honoring my local firefighters whom fall under the same leadership -----Original Message----- From: Sheila Rooker <gravefinder2003@yahoo.com> To: INPCRP-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Sat, 22 Apr 2006 11:05:33 -0700 (PDT) Subject: Re: [INPCRP] Fowler/Mundy Pioneer cemetery Dear Mr. and Mrs. Kempf, I would think that there would be a better forum for you political ramblings than this web site. I don't think he probably reads this web site. I understand the last paragraph but I don't want to hear the rest of it. L.A. what do you think? Poor equitment safety not only puts the residents in peril but also the firefighters! My wife and I would like to see new blood and a new leader named Gary Coons take over as Perry Township Trustee. Jack, we all know you would like to continue with the status quo, but start packing your bags to go and take your cronies with you. Intimidation won't work anymore against positive change that is good for Perry Township residents and for our brave firefighters! Our campaign signs missing won't deter Gary Coons. Fire Chief Meredith suspending his firefighters for displaying Gary for Perry bumper stickers on their cars in the parking lot smacks of an illegal act and intimidation, as you and Sandlin mail out official campaign letters paid for by taxpayers! Its a violation to use tax dollars to pay for your personal campagn n! ot to mention unethical at least! Do we have to see our neighbors get hurt or killed because you did not provide safe and sound equitment to firefighters? This culture of corruption; intimidation, status quo, arrogance, and the ,I know better than anyone, attitude has people wanting change badly in Perry Township and and the soon to be Trustee Gary Coons will provide that change. The condition of pioneer cemeteries in our township are in terrible need of maintenance and restoration. You don't just simply fence off a pioneer cemetry and forget about it! Our heritage and ancestry in the form of pioneer cemeteries was placed in your custody and you failed us over and over again with the lack of proper care and restoration that has been needed. We need a trustee whom will embrace our ancestors final resting places with dignity and respect. Not just lip service. A good example is the Fowler/Mundy Pioneer Cemetery on the far Southwest side of Indy in Perry Township. In 2000 we had a community clean-up and a marker was awarded to this historic site by the Indiana Register of Historical Sites and Structures and for six years you stonewalled and were dragged hollerin and screaming the whole way to do anything. You do the same things to the fire department. God Bless, Sincerely Mr. & Mrs. Kempf DeleteReplyForwardSpamMove...
