Hello All, Off topic, but well worth everyone's time to read. It is imperative that everyone have some type of anti-virus software to avoid this. The Badtrans.B virus DOES NOT REQUIRE the email receiver to open the attachment for it to execute. It uses a known vulnerability in Internet Explorer-based email clients (Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Outlook Express) to AUTOMATICALLY EXECUTE the file attachment. This is also known as Automatic Execution of Embedded MIME type. Many mail programs other than Microsoft are also vulnerable. My Eudora mail automatically ran the embedded MIME attachment, but my Norton Anti-virus program caught it.
