Hopefully people are mapping their plans to protect pioneer cemeteries...The Vincennes Sun Commercial finally published the letter by Richard Kimball mentioned recently regarding the cutting of funds to the Knox Co. Cemetery Commission......Ernie L. appeared on Evansville, Channel 7 news re: the Owensville War Memorial/outhouse combination he recently referred to on the site,...seems as tho the parks board there has had a change of heart....and the DNR has currently suspended burning any graveyards, until they can KNOW what damage it may be doing to the stones.....(.this info coming from the Saturday Madison Workshop) And if you haven't attended one of John and Micki Walters' workshops,,make sure you attend the next one near you.(or use it as an excuse to travel across the state ,as we did Saturday)..temperature was nicer than the 90* we had in Princeton last June......Ruth and Jerry Pride Wheatland...
