    3. Lois, Tell them that we in California are trying desperately to save the graves of Hoosier's who moved out for the gold rush (and later). The least they can do is save the graves of those who stayed home.     3. This is for Sue. Does a list exist naming Michiganders who died in the gold rush? My GGGrandfather died along the America River in Dec 1851 or Jan 1852. I have a letter stating he died but we have never known where he is buried.
