To bad I didn't have a recorder when the Mayor told me AND Jack Sandlin standing under the Tent before the Group picture how nice it will be when they get the designation and get a Plaque erected. Politicians have a short memory if it means stepping on another's toes. At least you have now made it known to the important ones, so maybe when the weather "Clears up" the Historical Plaque will be installed. Good job Jeff. Hope we don't have to go to the DHPA. I'll be up there 2 weeks from Friday, and will go by the cemetery, and maybe also visit some officials. I used to be on speaking terms with both Jack Sandlin and the Mayor.
