Hi List; Below is the respose i got from Mayor Tunget and basically what I've been getting for YEARS from Perry Township Trustee! The sidewalk has been there a very long time but is one of the excuses Trustee Jack Sandlin has been using for years. I honestly cannot believe this project started 2000 and the Registry of Indiana Historical Sites and Structures awarded a this site a marker in2002! DNR just oked it a couple of weeks ago. we are waiting for an ok from the historical society. when weather permits a side walk will be put around the cemetery and then the sign will go up. there are rules and regulations when putting up a historical sign and we are just trying to work through them. thank you for your interest. nannette tunget mayor of southport
