I had an e-mail from this reporter back in June and I sent her all I had on Maria Creek along with phone contacts for myself and the other Knox County members, historian, etc. and I also referred her on to Doug Dougherty, who sent her a bunch of material about the Cincinatti Cemetery, but to this date no one that I know has even heard back from her. Have you Doug? She has not contacted anyone in Knox County, which doesn't surprise me because things like this have a tendency to just get swept under the rug around here. You guys out there in the rest of the world cannot understand, but in Knox County and mainly (Vincennes), "Little Las Vegas" as it was once formerly known and the "Head Shop Capital" of the World, as once referred to by our local Mayor and called the "Cess Pool of America" on CNN by one of our previous County Councilmen, you just don't make any waves and especially reporters just tend to get real busy with something else, when they start asking questions around here. Did I mention that our former Prosecutor is in the State Pen. and that there is a full out investigation and pending lawsuit if our County finances, so......... My guess is, she went back to Indy and was told not to get involved. You know anything about her, Lee? And, I am still waiting for the Conservation Officer to return my calls!
