    3. Hello All: Please keep in mind that we have some new cemetery laws lately that should have some leverage that wasn't in place years ago. Hugh Dillin from Petersburg had his family cemetery "plowed". There was a big stink at the time, but I don't think it ever developed into much. In the back of my mind, my thinking has always been, if he can't get anything done then why am I even attempting. Our local politician here made the statement about his own grandpa, when asked about what if it would happen to him........."I didn't know him anyway." So you see, it's an uphill battle all the way. You either care or you don't worry about it. 3. To protect cemeteries, especially the older ones, contact GPS. Be sure to get the cemetery on satellite by global positioning. This protects the ground of the cemetery for a 100 foot diameter around it. This is currently being done around Paxton and Carlisle, Indiana as fast as they can do them because new coal mines are coming to the area. Teresa "E. 3. Hello: There is also a school class doing this in Tipton County this summer. I really haven't heard about their progress, I just know they were getting a grant to do this.
