    3. Please anyone on the list that knows of a burial site getting farmed over or otherwise taking a beating whether it be four wheelers or whatever, please contact [email protected] with the location, account of the happenings and whatever else you can offer. Sites that appear to be in eminent danger of destruction where its pretty obvious are what we need most. Please, please contact her, some of us are going to meet her personally, it could very well be you and your story. Lee Creed Greencastle

    3. Good idea. I think it might also be a good idea to write her even if you don't have a particular cemetery to report. The more the paper thinks that people are interested in an issue the more likely they are to cover it. It $ells more papers. Also, Julia Moffitt < mailto:[email protected] > of channel 13 and Michael Moely < mailto:[email protected] >at Fox 59 both seemed very interested in this issue when I spoke with them at Greenlawn in Franklin. In fact, Moely stated in an email to me: "Please keep me posted with any updates you'd like to see covered in the news!" I know the Indy TV stations don't reach a lot of the state, but ch. 13 is a partner with the Star and share stories. 3. Just this morning, I heard from the person who is proofreading Miami County for the IGS cemetery locator project. He said that heavy machinery is damaging Tillett Cemetery in Peru Twp., of Miami County. It is just east of the intersection of US24 and SR19. He tried to contact DNR, but got a recording saying they were out of the office. I told him to contact the township trustee and the local newspaper. I can't get onto www.inpcrp.org right now, so I don't know if there is a Miami Co. person to notify. Sharon Howell

    3. Sharon, There are two people listed for Miami Co. but I have tried to contact them with no response. I don't know if they are still taking care of it. Their names are Debby Beheler and Becky Miller. Unsure of why you can't get onto the site. I just tried with no problem.
