Light Sanding would be better than that, at least it would turn water and let the dirt run off. !!!! Jack

    3. JACK: WE HAD A SCOUT FROM HAMILTON COUNTY THAT WAS WORKING FOR HIS EAGLE BADGE REPAIRING CEMETERIES. HE WORKED WITH US FOR ABOUT THREE WEEKS BEFORE HE VENTURED OUT ON HIS OWN. HIS MOTHER ALSO WORKED WITH US AND WORKED SIDE BY SIDE WITH HIM (MAKING SURE ALL WAS OK). I ASKED HIM IF THE SCOUTS HAD ANY GUIDELINES AND ALL HE HAD WAS WHAT I GAVE HIM THAT I HAD. MOST WERE FROM A WORKSHOP I ATTENDED A COUPLE YEARS AGO. I ALSO TOLD HIM I WOULD FEEL BETTER IF HE WORKED WITH US TO LEARN OUT METHOD. HE HAS DONE A GOOD JOB OUT TO THE SUMNER CEMETERY IN SOUTHERN TIPTON COUNTY. HE HAS DONE ABOUT 60-70 STONES OVER THE SUMMER. 3. Thanks! Jack, for confirmation on the effects of power washing. Joan, for the info on your experience with the Eagle Scout project. Brad, for clarifying the power washing statement on the website. I think this is an area where we can do some education with the Scout Councils. And the very least direct them to the INPCRP website.
