    3. Larry, This insurance idea is interesting. Run it by Mr. Munson & see what he thinks. As far as the church goes, I'm not sure which came first, Church or cemetery, or if they were ever connected. Maybe I should have asked that. At any rate, there is no connection at present, & when the Association runs out of $, the cemetery will be turned over to the Township Trustee. You are certainly right about community awareness, and the current business climate in Warsaw. I would hope there would be enough concern & indignation to move the community to action. Maybe even a Kosciusko Co. coordinator for INPCRP.We can always hope. LIST, What have other cemetery associations done about liability? Does anyone even worry about it when they have a work day? What about fund raising? I remember Rep.Tom Saunders & the chicken noodle dinner for his Cemetery Association. Theresa [email protected] wrote: My wife Amy & I drove from Muncie after the damage happened and were appalled with how many stones were pushed over and/or destroyed. I have a little experience with insurance and ins companies will usually insure about anything--what if they used the monetary donations bought some liability ins (for only a certain time period) and then made a push for volunteers and more donations during a couple of weekends before the cold hits - -I would think with the crime fresh there would be more community awareness than if it sits unrepaired until spring. Warsaw is a happening place business wise it seems--lots of high tech stuff--has to be a concerned citzen/bsinessperson in the insurance business there that could make this happen for them. I am somewhat mad at the church for saying they have no part of them--it is right across the street-the church looks somewhat happening, and they share the same name.--they can't just write them off--churches aren't supposed to do that. 0k--no more soapbox--sorry. We both like the place--it is a nice cemetery--I've told Amy to bury me there. If there is something I can do--I will do it. 3. Theresa, FYI, the Hancock County Cemetery Commission has a release of liablity form that the county insurance agent drew up for us. The cemetery commission and any volunteers must sign it before working, and copies are given to the township trustee (if we are working in a cemetery that is the trustee's responsibility). A signed permission slip is also signed by the cemetery commission president (or an authorized agent of the president) and the township trustee or private property owner to work in the cemetery. The chicken noodle dinner with Rep. Saunders did VERY well. It was a great idea. 3. Angela , Can we get a copy of the release to send to Mr. Munson as an example of what they could do at Pleasnt Grove? THANKS.
