The only connection I have of Bowen & Arney is too late to be of help in this discussion, but thought you might like to have it: John BOWEN, Jr. and Nancy CHILDRESS had a daughter, Sarah BOWEN, born 8 Dec 1860 Owen Co., died 1900, buried Freedom, Owen Co. IL, Dutch Bethel Cemetery. She married Hiram J. ARNEY 27 Dec. 1884. Hiram was born 5 May 1857. Nancy R.
