Minetta Belle's half-sister, Dellie, could be Mary Adele Leak, b. May 31, 1861, June 30, 1882. If this is so, then according to "Owen County Cousins" Vol. 2, p.299, Dellie married Isaac Hamilton (Ham) Hauser on December 25, 1879, in Owen Co, IN. After Dellie died, Ham married Laura Bollman in 1887. I'd like to know who that Dellie Bowen is in that tintype, too! Hi Priscilla and All, I replied to Dana's question privately , but should have sent it to list. Della Bowen would be Florence Della Bowen (1868-1944) dau of John Bowen Jr (1827-1874) and his second wife Elizabeth Huller (1844-1928). John Bowen Jr. is son of John Bowen Sr (1788-1852). I have other pictures of Della, but no tintype. Would be able to compare to determine if Dellas are the same. Florence Della Bowen married a William A. Troth, and they lived just outside Patricksburg. Elizabeth Huller Bowen married a Rawley after John Bowen Jr. died. And the $64,000 question is who is the wife of John Bowen Sr. Hope this helps. Judy
