Bloomington (IN) Telephone, Dec 24, 1901, p. 1. DEATH OF MISS MARGARET SMALL {From Monday's Daily.) Miss Margaret Small died at 9 o'clock this morning at the home of her sister, Mrs. Anthony Benckart at Spencer, of consumption. While death was not unexpected, the news is none the less sad to the many home friends. Miss Small was 37 years of age, the daughter of Roger Small, deceased, and was born and raised in Monroe County. She taught school here for many years, first in the district schools and later in the city graded schools. She had been in poor health for several years and last year gave up her school work on account of her weakened condition. She was a faithful member of the U. P. Church and leaves two sisters, Mrs. William Stout and Mrs. Anthony Benckart to mourn her death. Miss Small has been at the home of Mr. Benckart at Spencer for several weeks. The remains will arrive at 7 o'clock this evening and will be taken to the residence of Henry Benckart, South Walnut Street. As yet, no arrangements have bene made for the funeral.
