I'm trying to find the family of : John F. BURKS b. ca1847 m. Sarilda {Sarah} A. SKINNER...their first child William W. was b.1866, so they were probably mar. sometime before that.... I have found them on the 1880 Owen Co.IN Clay Twp. census ,but can't find them on the 1870 census in Owen Co.....still searching in Monroe and Greene Co., as they could have been living there also. Sarilda's mother Susannah was living with them on the 1880 census as were Lizie S., Unity C., and Louiza Burks their other children. If anyone is connected to them, I would like to exchange family info with you. There were a lot of BURKS families living in Beech Creek area of Gr.
