Working with the BOWEN surname in Owen County, there are only 3 marriages listed in Owen County up to 1850. One is Harriet Bowen to William W. Hauser, married 2-21-1841. Looking at the ARNEY surname in Owen County, there are 3 who married Hauser surnames. John ARNEY married Huldah Ann Hauser, date 7-26-1841. Mary M. ARNEY married John H. Hauser, date 2-3-1848. Rebecca ARNEY married Jaoob HAUUSER, date 9-11-1845. All of these are Owen County, Indiana.
