There are several Turpin and Isom/Ison families living in Greene, Monroe and Owen counties during the 1800's and I'm trying to sort them out....If anyone has any info on the family of : Charles ISOM b. 1795 KY....living in the Beech Creek Twp. area of Greene Co. on the 1850 census....I'm trying to find out about his daughter Louisa b. ca1826 KY. Andrew W. TURPIN b. ca1832 to James TURPIN and Elizabeth NEWTON....living in Beech Creek Twp. also on the 1850 census...He was married 3 times and once was to an Louisa ISOM...1851 in Greene Co.IN. They had 2 children Mary E. and Joseph/Jasper M. and then I next find him marrying again in 1855 in Greene Co. My questions here are, did Louisa die , or did they get a divorce?? Also is this Louisa ISOM the same girl as the daughter of Charles ISOM? If anyone has any info on these two Beech Creek Twp. families,I would love to exchange info with you.
