Mary Ann had six children by this first marriage, four daughters, Nancy, Martha, Elizabeth and Ellen Sarah, also two sons, John W. and Wesley. At the time of Mary Ann's death on 10 March 1902 and according to her obituary, there were only two of the six children still living at the at time of her death, John W. and Martha. I have not been successful in locating anything about Martha or any of her descendants if she had any, but the contact that I made is a descendant of John W., named Emile E. Slowan. Emile spells his last name different from Mary Ann's first husband, William Slown/Sloan did, but Emile is definitely a descendant of John W. Sloan. Emile does not know anything about any of the other five brother and sisters of John W. Sloan and he has forwarded to me all the ancestors of his dating back to John W. Sloan. My question is, are you folks or any of our other relatives that you are in contact with interested in having access to this data? If so, would you please let me know if you are and also the names and addresses of the others of our family who might be interested.
