    3. Sorry, but I was visiting the Putnam County Courthouse when I looked at it. I would assume it was just doctors that had some kind of Putnam county connection. I really only looked at it briefly, and used the index to search for the name Priscilla had asked about a number of times. I would guess that every county has such a directory, as I seem to recall one at Clay County too. There was a book for dentists, and also one for nurses. Why don't you post your request to the Putnam county lists and see if anyone plans to be at the courthouse to do research. I will go back there sometime, but it could be a year or more, very difficult to say at this point.
