I am researching the MASSEY family line that I believe were in the Putnam/Owen county area about 1831. Lucy MASSEY married John EVANS 3-24-1831 in Owen county. Parents of Lucy are thought to be: Jonathan MASSEY and Francis(Franky)DAVIS I have what I think is a marriage date for them of 11-24-1797 in Grainger county TN. I only know of one child which is Lucy born in 1809 in KY and who died before 4-9-1865 in Douglas county Illinois.
