Hello fellow researchers!!!! I'm researching David Johnson (b. 30 May 1782 in VA., d. 17 Jun 1856 in Owen Co.) who was married to Martha (Patsy) Culter (b. 25 Dec 1782 in NY or NJ) when he moved to Owen Co. in the early 1800's. Martha died on 1 Aug. 1823 and David then married Fanny McDaniels (b. 1796 in Stokes Co., NC). Both David and Fanny are buried in Farmer's Station Cemetery near Freedom, Owen Co., IN. I have been unable to locate where Martha was buried. David's and Martha's children are: Arthur (b. 19 Jan 1801 in Clarkesburg, VA) Mary (b. 10 Oct 1804 in Greene Co., OH ) Sarah (b.12 Aug 1807 in Greene Co., OH d. 1889 in Spencer IN) m. Levi Beem Sanford (b. 18 Jul 1809 in Greene Co., OH) Elizabeth (Betsy) (b. 18 Dec 1811 in Greene Co., OH) Reuben (b. 28 Dec 1813 in Greene Co., OH) Moses (b. 26 Sep 1814 in Owen Co., IN) Benjamin (b. 28 Sep 1816 in Owen Co., IN) David (b. 13 Oct 1819 in Owen Co., IN) Freeborn Wesley (b. 7 Oct 1821 in Owen Co., IN, d. 6 Jan 1910 in Osceola, IA) this is my line. David and Fannie children are: Martha Ann (b. 1 Feb 1825 in Owen Co., IN) Allison Chord (b. 7 Mar 1827 in Owen Co., IN) James S. (b. 1 Jul 1829 in Owen Co., IN) Margaret Jane (b. 31 Jul 1831 in Owen Co., IN) Frances E. (b. 19 Mar 1834 in Owen Co., IN) Aaron S. (b. 20 Sep 1836 in Owen Co., IN) Freeborn Wesley Johnson married Electra Jane Barrows (Burrows) (b. 10 Aug 1822 in Jennings Co., IN but a census record has is as in Maryland ?) but have yet to find where and when they were married. I would like to know more about Electra's family. Freeborn and Electra children are: Freeborn Wesley, Jr. (b. 1854 in Owen Co., IN d. 1890 Humeston, IA) this is my line. Martha (Mattie ) Rebecca (b. 6 Dec 1842 in Owen Co., IN) Frederick Burrows (b. 1844 in Owen Co., IN d. 1866 in Osceola, IA from wounds from the civil war) Moses Trader (b. 1846 in Owen Co., IN) Thomas A. (b. 1850 d. 1910) Sallie E. (b. 1852) Ella F. (b. 1857) Freeborn Wesley, Jr. married Frankie E. Chaney and then her sister Flora Bell Chaney after Frankie died. Freeborn Jr. and Frankie's children are: Tessila (b. 1876 in Clarke Co., IA) Harry (b. 1878 in Clarke Co., IA) Freeborn Jr. and Flora Bell's children are: Ethel Maude (b. 30 Sep 1880 in Osceola, IA d. Feb 1971 in Petaluma, CA) this is my line. Nellie Aborgast (b. 17 Oct 1885 in Clarke Co., IA) Frebren Winifred (b. 20 Apr 1891 in Desmoines IA d. 16 Jun 1971) Would like to know more information as to who married who and any other information that might help me put my puzzle (family tree) together more completely.
