Terresa Thompson, In going through the Owen postings that have accumulated in my mail, I noticed yours. Jacob Light was my 6th great grandfather. I did/do not have his parents listed. There are numerous cousins that are subscribers to the Owen County list and will probably have more information than I have. I'm descended through Mathias Light's son Abner Light and Abner's first wife Elizabeth Burkett and their son Israel and Elizabeth Ellen Vaughn. There are other connections along the way that make things interesting. Both my maternal grandparents are descended from Israel and Elizabeth (Vaughn) Light. (They were 3rd cousins). How much information do you have on Jacob and his father Ebon. My cousin Sharon and I only had Jacobs name no dates and nothing on his father. Of course we've been spending an inordinate amount of time on the brick wall on our 4th great grandfather James Bigger, several of whose descendents married descendents of the Lights. Another chink in the wall blocking the lights at the end of a tunnel, several of our cousins are more closely descended from the Lights. It would be nice to find a Bigger light!
