Vigo County Public Library in Terre Haute, IN has added a WORK IN PROGRESS, a database of viewable marriage records for Vigo County from Feb. 1932 to Feb. 1951. It is not very conspicuous on the page that it is a WORK IN PROGRESS, but I realized that very quickly when I searched it for records I had already obtained on microfilm at the library and they were not yet in the database. HOWEVER, I did find one record of a marriage that I was not aware of, so others may have some luck also. Once I find out more about the index, I will pass the info along. There is a Bride's Index, and a Groom's Index. You can view the complete marriage record online in its original writing as long as you have downloaded Adobe Acrobat viewer, a free file, as well as print the record.
