Nathan WOOD is found in the 1850 census as the son of John and Martha Wood and is aged 13. Do not know where he was born. He married Sarah A. MAY on July 19, 1860 in Indiana. Nathan served in the Civil War and I have copies of his discharge and pension papers. Sarah and Nathan had the following children: Emmet Ezra (my ggrandfather), Otis, Charlies, Estel, Molly Isom, Dorie Parish, Luly Sims. Emmet (b.1868 - d. 1954) married Malinda L. COFFEY (b.1870 - d.1948). They had nine children: Ulie Forice (my grandfather), Felix Hurbert, William Russel, Mary Amanda, Raymond, Howard, Gladis, Henry Mason, Woodrow. I believe Emmet and Malinda moved to Adel, IOWA
