Charlotte, I don't think there's such a thing as horning in (unwanted intrusion) on sites such as this. You never know where the little bit of information could come from, usually from where you least expect it. The bit on the Traux family occurred because I remembered the name from this site while reviewing info from some research I am starting in the Land of 10000 Lakes. I personally don't have any reason to research the line yet, but I know several of Owen County are and thought it of interest. If you run into records on James Bigger and family (wife Jane/Nancy Stewart, son Stephen and daughters Abigail and Minerva in your area of research in the years between 1800 and 1810, please post it. There are about three or four branches of his family looking for more on his history.
