I just FINALLY found my Robert MIDDLETON in the Bureau of Land Management Site. I recommend it to everyone!!! www.glorecords.blm.gov/ should get you there. It is by no means complete, but you should be pleased. Carolyn
Thank you so much for this!! I just went over and typed in an ancestor and voila! There it was. Not only that, but I have been having trouble researching this particular ancestor. Marshall Beatty born abt 1814/1819 in Kentucky but lived in Clay County, IN. When I found the land patent it was spelled Marchel Beaty. Now I have another avenue to look down. I never thought about a spelling like that. Hopefully I can get a little further now. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Carolyn Jarvey" <bcjarvey@earthlink.net> To: <INOWEN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, August 12, 2000 11:36 AM Subject: [INOWEN] RESEARCH TIPS > I just FINALLY found my Robert MIDDLETON in the Bureau of Land > Management Site.
