    2. T. Thompson
    3. Your entries for 1. Eliza M., dau of G. & M. Light, died Dec 25, 1866 age 5y 10m 2. Margaret, wife of G. Light, Born Dec 10, 1831 Died Sept 12. 1871 I have George Light (1831- ) and Margaret "Mary" Martin md September 07, 1851 in Owen Co. George was the son of Bird Light (1805-1888) and Katherine Lucas Light. ------------------------------------------- Your entries for Franklin John F. Ellen Mch. 20. 1858 Mch. 8. 1858 Dec. 17. 1919 Mch. 10. 1926 Masonic Emblem. - (John F is the s/o Joshua & Eliza Franklin, Ellen Thompson married John Dec 24, 1882, Book 31, pg 470) Ellen Thompson (Eleanor Thompson) was the daughter of John and Mary (Martin) Thompson. John and Mary came from County Down Ireland around 1848 and settled near New Hope. ------------------------------------------ Your entry immediately following John F and Ellen (see above) is Infant dau of J. A. & O. L. Franklin(The Owen County Cemetery Book lists this, we did not find the stone) I wonder if this is a child of Jonathon Asberry Franklin and Christina Light. Jonathon Asberry and John F. were brothers... this might make sense. Perhaps the "O" was really a "C" for Christina. --------------------------------- Your entry for Alice Light 1868 - 1931 I show Flaura Allis Light (September 22, 1869 - May 31, 1931). She was the daughter of Israel Light and Nancy Gooden Light. This is probably your "Alice" ------------------------ The next entry for Ralph R Franklin July 13. 1892 Sept. 5. 1910 (his real name was Ralph R Woods, this information found in an article written by Vivian Zollinger for the "Owen County Ancestors", Dec 31, 1992 issue. The Owen County Cemetery Book does not list this tombstone) My response: Ralph Woods was raised by Benjamin Emory "Pa" and Elizabeth (Martin) "Ma" Franklin. Ralph left home and went to ? (I seem to remember Idaho??) He was killed there. Ma Franklin took a train and brought him home. Ma "took in" several kids and raised them to adulthood. Bertha Fender was another of these children. Bertha married Charles Johnson. ------------------------------------ Next Entry for: Wallace E. Franklin 1912-1913 Wallace Edward Franklin was the son of Joseph Allen and (2nd wife) Roxie Mary (Johnson) Franklin. Roxie had taken the baby on a train trip to Indianapolis to visit her brother Murray. The baby caught a cold and died from the complications. Your next entry Sylvia Yocum is the first wife of Joseph Allen Franklin (son of Benjamin Emory and Elizabeth (Martin) Franklin) Sylvia died after giving birth to Ruth Franklin Pruett (wife of Herbert Pruett) ------------------------ This should fill in a few holes.
