Dick, They are all listed in Combes Cemetery in the book "Owen County Cemetery Listings," 1983. With the exception of Mahala, the names below are all in the S.E. Corner, Row 13. Mahala Carter is listed in Row 11, as w/o L., 7 Oct 1849 - 23 Aug 1866. > Mahala Carter, Richard K Carter, Columba Carter, C A Carter, > Eliza Carter.... My information is that they are buried at Combes > Cemetery, south of Quincy in Taylor Twp., Owen County...someone has sent me > information that they are at Beech Cemetery in Marion Twp., Owen Co. I know my father's name is on a gravestone far from where he's buried, but that seems like an awful lot of Carters to be wrong. Please let us know what you find out. Priscilla
