Hello. Just joined this list in effort to locate a lost tribe of my Allison family. Searching for any descendants of JOHN BURCH ALLISON, originally of Maryland and progenitor of a line of early Owen County merchants. I'm aware that at one time, there were numerous members of this family in and around Spencer, plus other areas of the county. I'm hoping to reach the descendants.
