I am searching for some info on the following men. I am most interested in their whereabouts around 1834, both their residences and/or place of business. Thomas G. Johnson; listed as a clergyman and residing in Washington twp James M. Allison, listed as a Merchant in Washington twp. These men gave affidavits regarding an ancestor of mine and I am trying to find out if he lived in their area of business, or just visited there from elsewhere. Also trying to find out if this Clergyman was associated with a particular church and if so where was that. Thomas C. Johnson, minister, Bethel Christian Church, Gosport, Jefferson Township, page 733 OWEN COUNTY INDIANA 1884, cf.p677. If you look at the list of marriges in Owen Co. IN before 1850, you will see that many of the marriages were performed by Thomas C. Johnson, M. G.
