Which Wells family was this Samuel living with? Does it say where he was born and when? I don't have my 1860's census book yet. So far as I know Samuel is not one of Alexander Scott's children. But it's possible from early census records that I am missing a male child. If Mildred came from Monroe County, Ohio and Samuel did as well, there won't be a marriage record since the 1867 courthouse fire destroyed those records.
