Hi, Ohio Scotts! We have a mystery in our VA>Owen Co. IN SCOTTs. Some of our folks have this marriage: Samuel SCOTT + Mildred PULING / PULLEN. Mildred was born 10 Aug 1778 Northumberland Co. VA, daughter of Leroy & Winnie (UNKNOWN) PULLEN. The marriage is supposed to have been 14 Nov 1844 Owen Co. IN, but I have not found it listed in the Owen Co. before 1850 list. This is neither our Samuel SCOTT + Milly FOSTER m 5 Mar 1812 Person Co. NC, nor his son Samuel S. SCOTT m1 Amelia McNAUGHT, m2 Frances Jane (BARNARD) KIGER.
