They were found on the 1830 census as such: BOLDON, William 1 M 20-30 1 F 20-30......Wayne Twp. They were found on the 1840 census as such: BALDEN, Wm.A. 1 M 20-30 2 F under 5 1 F 20-30......Harrison Twp. Would like to find William's or Temperance's parents? Did this family move to another county in IN after the 1840 census or possibly another state ? To confuse matters more, there is another Wm.A. BOLDON/BALDWIN who married Emeline PITTMAN 12 Oct 1837 in Owen Co.IN. , I found them on this census: 1850 Tipton Co.IN BALDON, William A.....34...KY Emeline.......................28...IN Hannah........................11...IN Sarah............................9.....IN James...........................8.....IN Fanny...........................6......IN Mary F...........................2.....IN MaryAnn.......................4.....IN Margaret.......................3/12 ..IN This family matches up perfectly to the couple m. 1837 Owen Co.IN...as far as when their family started.
