Theda, I have a William Hancock. He was born in Tenn. and then was in Owen county for awhile. He is listed on the Campbell county Tn. 1850 census with a wife Mary last name???? also on 1860 Campbell county Tn census but Mary is not there, think she died. Now I don't know if he was married before Mary or not. I have him being born about 1814 or 1816. 1870 Owen Co.
