My Owen County interest include: Galen Bray (my 2G grandfather) born 1828 his parents Moses Bray (my 3G grandfather) born ca. 1795 and Lucy Walker (my 3G grandmother) and his grandfather Arthinarius Bray (my 4G grandfather). Arthinarius may not have made it to Owen County. Moses and Lucy are probably buried in Owen County. Galen's brother Miles Bray - which at one time I was told was his father. Miles married Elizabeth Jane Crockett (daughter of David Crockett and Mary Ann Nosler) November 11, 1845. Other Owen County names are Letha Ann Slough (Galen's wife and my 2G grandmother) and her family Henry C. Slough (father), Drucilla Hale (mother), and Margaret Oliphant (grandmother).
