Hi All, Am looking for a Mary Ellen Arney who is listed as an heir to John Bowen Sr (1789-1852) in some of his probate materials. The petition notes she is a minor in 1853 when the estate is still going through the courts. My calculation is that she would have to be born after 1832 to be a minor in 1853. Don't actually know what the connection here is between John Sr. Bowen and Mary Ellen Arney. Haven't followed Arney genealogy very much, but have looked at OCC and at Owen marriage records. There is a Mary E. Arney daughter of Henry Arney Jr. But the latter family is not well documented in OCC records. Any one know of a Mary Ellen Arney? Thanks, Judy Weisberg, Columbus, OH.
