Looking for information or contact with other researchers concerning James Madison Hinton (b.1839 OH, d. 1922-24 WV), married (m. 3 Nov 1859) to Aurelia Alice (Hoit) Hinton (b. 1842 OH, d. 1863 Owen, IN). James' and Aurelia's only known child, Lillie, is believed to have been born in 1862 in Owen, IN. James is believed to have mustered into the 97th IN Infantry in Aug 1862 but served only 1-2 months, returning to OH in the fall of 1863.
