I am searching for information regarding the family of: Robert McCULLOUGH b. 1793 s/o John and Margaret (Moderell) McCULLOUGH. Robert married Polly Moderell and they are listed in the 1840 Pensioners Census for Montgomery twp with both of his parents residing with them. They were in section 17 just NW of Carp. There are also about 9 children, some of which are of an age to be on their own--20 and upwards. Land records show that Robert sold his land in May of 1845 to William McGuinn. There is no further trace of this Robert McCULLOUGH family. His cousin is also named Robert and in the Quincy area and married to Tamer HAMRICK, I am not searching that family. Robert(age50-60) and Polly(age 50-60) are listed in the 1840 census with the following children: (they are listed as McCULLY) 1 male 10-15 1 male 20-30 3 females 15-20 4 females 20-30 1 male 80-90 (his father) 1 female 70-80 (his mother) ANY INFORMATION regarding the whereabouts of this family after 1845 or the names of any of the children would be most appreciated.
