Elizabeth, I don't know if this info will help you but may be a lead on the HILSABECK family. My HUFFMAN family from Owen Co., IN ended up in Iowa and that led me to post messages there also. I received an email from Larry Hanson, who grew up in Audubon Co., IA and his g grandfather was a HILSABECK. He mentioned to me that these families were from Owen Co., IN. HUFFMAN, HILSABECK, FISCUS, SPEAS were some of the names he mentioned. I will give you his email directly if you are interested.
