Interesting answer... guess I need to do some legwork. I have Joel Stine married to Mary Haskett in Owen Co May 3, 1838 and that Rebecca was their daughter. Sounds like there is a mix-up on the Joseph and Joel. Have confirmed a Rebecca in the household of Joel and Mary Stine in 1850. So, I guess it back to sorting out who is who. Thanks for the info.. You are all most welcome for the list. I really enjoyed doing it. I am hoping alot of you make connections with it. I do have some corrections and additions to make in it and I will have these taken care of very shortly and repost for a final time. If you have any to add, please let me know. I also will have a printed list of these names for myself and in my searching for my own research if I see something that applies to someone I can pass it along.I hope others will do the same. Since many of us are also researching in bordering counties, If and when we can get this one taken care of, I think it would be great to make a similar listing of what surnames and all that for Morgan county as I know for a fact that several of us are also heavily researching there. Even though, yes I know there are other surname lists on the web pertaining to these counties, I am more trying to concentrate on "our" list of researchers and trying to help each other out. Due to missed posts, or persons not always posting, there could be persons on this list that are searching in the same lines you are and you may not know it. This was proven earlier when someone wrote that they had made 2 connections already through the list I posted. Well everyone on that list is from this list or the Sweet Owen webpage, so that means those persons were there all the time and for whatever reasons the paths never crossed. So I am thinking one to serve the folks also with Morgan county named that are also on this list would help us also. I would be most interested in hearing everyone's opinion of this.
